Given below are the maximum daily limits and how to increase your current limit


Transaction category Maximum daily limit (LKR)
Within your own accounts at HSBC: 15,000,000.00
Bill payment: 500,000.00
Transfer to pre-designated payee: 5,000,000.00
Transfer to non-designated payee: 5,000,000.00
  • Reducing your daily limits will affect any existing instructions of an amount that exceeds your new limits.

  • The term Pre-designated payees refers to payee details that you have set up with the Bank either by telephone or by written instruction. Payee instructions set up using Internet Banking are classified as non-designated payees.

  • Please send a secure message via online banking or HSBC mobile banking app to increase the daily limit. (Subject to the maximum daily limit.)
